HAIR STYLING
The way your hair looks means a lot. A simple up-do or styling can go such a long way to making you look and feel better overall. A flattering hairstyle can take you from 0 to 100 so quickly! We will be posting hair tips/advice and more on our blog regularly, so stay tuned! Make sure that any time you have your hair done, you’re going to a licensed hairdresser. Hair does grow back but it can take a while to get back to how you like it, so be sure of the quality before you take the leap. It takes a hairdresser many hundreds of hours to get licensed, so you know you can count on them.
If you need style inspiration and don’t have a stylist you can ask at the moment, look online or in hair magazines! Also, don’t be afraid to ask your friends what they think would look best for your hair, they just might have something perfect in mind. Don’t be afraid to experiment either, try some new things, hair always grows back.
HAIR COLOR & CUTS
When it comes to changing how your hair looks, your options are about limitless! You can add color in certain areas or over your whole head, of which so many different colors can be done. When you go to a professional, you can rely on them getting the exact colors and shades you want, while if you were to do it yourself you could easily mess up your color. You can also do different haircuts that may suit your head or face shape better, and that alone can give you a huge confidence boost.
The best thing you can do for yourself is to build a good trusting relationship with your hairdresser. As they learn what looks best on you they can recommend things, and you just feel more comfortable in the chair when a friend is cutting your hair. You CAN cut your hair yourself at home, but it’s always best to just leave it in the hands of a pro, they’re not that expensive anyways!
Hair Care
It’s important that you not only keep your hair looking good but keep it as healthy as you can. For instance, you shouldn’t be washing your hair every single day (unless it is getting dirty every day). Washing too frequently only washes off the oils that you need to protect your hair, opening it up to more and more damage. It’s best to wash it maybe every other day or so.
Also, be wary of the products you use on your hair. Flat ironing your hair can cause a ton of damage to it, making it look bad until it all re-grows. Just be wary of what you’re doing, take necessary precautions. If you’re questioning using a product that you’re fairly sure could damage your hair, you should avoid it altogether. It’d be way better for you to just go natural.
If you need a hairdresser in the area, you need to go to Clayton hair salon.
